One evening, one Hallenstadion, more than 3,000 people. Unlimited wine, music late into the night and light like you rarely see it. What happened on September 19 is hard to put into words. So we’d rather show you.
Nine winemaking families from Italy poured their wines in person. And with Terroir by Sarc:o, wine became audible for the first time.
Carol Fernandez opened the evening, Joe Rok and Vivace turned the Hallenstadion into a discoteca. Insieme, as the song goes.
More than 3,000 amici, Italo chic as far as the eye could see and a light design experience by Designlight that transformed the space.

Live concerts, international DJs, extraordinary performances and unique light design: for Sound of Wine, the Hallenstadion was transformed into a specially created world of experiences, together with the team behind Art on Ice.
And at the heart of it all: Italy’s great wines.
A whole evening of unlimited tastings and personal encounters with some of the biggest names in Italian wine: winemakers and producers such as Planeta, Zanella from Ca’ del Bosco and Frescobaldi from I Collazzi travelled
to Zurich to share their favourite wines. Families and wineries that have shaped Italian wine on the world stage.

When to explore, taste, sing along or dance was up to every single guest.
Live concerts, international DJs and surprising performances: Sound of Wine brought music to the big stage and put everyone right in the middle of it. From Italian vibes to driving beats, a line-up as diverse as the evening itself. These were the acts of 2026.
Italian lifestyle meets modern Afrobeat and house vibes – and 2026 is his year: his track “Pensiero Stupendo” was released on Spinnin' Records, his remixes play on Radio Italia, Radio 105 and m2o, and his sets take him across Italy and Europe. Energy, elegance, unforgettable nights.
From SRF 3 Best Talent to the face of Swiss Italo-disco: his largely sold-out “Discoteca Vivace Tour” took him through seven countries – from Zurich all the way to Mexico. Songs like “Insieme” and “Baia degli Angeli” play on radios and in club sets internationally. His songs electrify, and his infectious performances are guaranteed to fill the dance floor.
Carol Fernandez defines her sound with stylish sets that blend house, disco, and modern club beats. With a keen sense for atmosphere, she crafts an elegant and captivating musical experience.
Music born from wine. In this live performance, the physical properties of wine are captured through sensors and microphones. Conductivity, movement, and touch are transformed into electronic sounds in real time, creating a unique interplay of sound, taste, and emotion.
Impressive lighting displays blend perfectly with music and atmosphere here. Immersive visuals and emotional moments make every show a unique experience.
Behind every great wine are people, stories and generations driven by passion. At Sound of Wine, the next generation of Italy’s great wine dynasties was there in person, pouring their favourite wines all evening long.
